Who is Charlie

Charlie Mogray was born and raised in Hickory, NC! He joined the Marines in 1970 and served as Combat Engineer Officer until 1979. From 1994 to 2012, he was a South America Regional Manager for a telecommunication company, traveling a lot and enjoying all sorts of adventure and getting to know the outdoors in many different scenes! That is the period Charlie met his wife, Rose Mogray, from Brazil!

Charlie always had a passion for the outdoors, which led him to purchase the Outdoor Supply Company store in Hickory, NC from its founders in 2005, to continue and support the tradition of this iconic store! 

Outdoor Supply sells products for all of your hiking, camping, backpacking needs. In addition, we keep a wide variety of kayaks and canoes in our inventory.
